This is commonly overlooked but is rock-solid fundraiser.
In this scenario, the charity collects giveaway itmes and auctions them for making money for their cause. This idea is basically cost effective as the merchandises are mainly solicited from members and other participating individuals giving for free. The sky is the limit for what you can sell, clothes, baby items, lawnmowers you  name it.

The Bake Sale
A bake-off or bake sale is another very profitable fundraising idea. Everyone loves sweet stuff right? Don’t forget that because the event attendees themselves donate those goodies, profitabiltiy is sky-high and your risk is zero. That’s a good combination!

Benefit Dinner
With this type of event the charity charges an entrance fee to generate the profits.
Generally you use a noteworthy speaker or a well-known perfomanceto draw money and people to the event.

Don’t forget that you can also use the event itself to sell products. Since you have all those people right in front of you an up-sell isn’t just a possibility it’s a real no-brainer. Participants in this event can be of voluntary service or be the members of the involved organization this helps to contain costs  giving them better financial results with this nonprofit fundraising idea.

Tupperware
Tupperware sales are another possibility. Do you know anyone who doesn’t have at least a few leftovers in their fridge?  This one works well but you do limit the participants to mostly women.

Pancake Breakfast
Flap Jacks, everyone loves them and they are a solid choice if you have kitchen facilities
for your use.

Bikini Clad Carwash
You’d be surprised at how much money 4 bikini clad girls can brink in at $4 a pop. The great thing is all you need is girl-power, soap and water.

Pizza Drive
Selling pizzas in your local neighborhood flat-out works. Who do you know that doesn’t like a hot slice of  pizza? The pizza is delivered frozen so you don’t run into any spoilage issues and because the barrier to the sale ie. the price should be kept low and profits will be high.

Selling Services - A  Hugely Overlooked  Fundraising Idea

The bikini clad carwash mentioned earlier in this article is an example of selling a service instead of a product. This has to got to be the most overlooked fundraising idea ever.  It’s  often overlooked because, everyone focuses so heavily on product sales that this gem never even enters their minds.) If you have a fairly large and active  community that you draw from to fuel your fundraising drive then a classic service upsell is a good idea. What you do is have  fundraiser participants sell their services to people in the community.‭ ‬They can rake clean up lawns and trim lawns,‭ ‬clean gutters,‭ clean up‬ garages,‭ clean-up and detail wash‬ cars,‭ ‬or do any other household job that someone might need done.‭ This is great esecially if there are a lot of senior citizens in your community who cannot do these things on their own. This is really just the tip of the ice-berg for what you can do service selling‬ wise. Seriously folks, these are just a few ideas.

Fundraising - Is Just Like an Iceberg

Just like an iceberg in which the majority of it’s mass remains hidden from view, so is the “hidden” talents in the community that sorrounds your fundraising efforts. If you haven’t taken inventory of what talents  your members have that can be marketed you’re selling your fundraising effort short and are leaving a lot of money on the table.

Everyone in your community has some type of talent. In reality you are not sorrouned by members or fundraising participants. You’re sorrouned by small engine mechanics, landscapers, accountants, teachers, carpenters, sheetrock hangers, biologists and beauticians.
